by John Misita, 2011 Below are pictures of what was left of my 1966 Bridgestone 90 sport, after the oil injection system FAILED! Cruising at 50 MPH the engine suddenly locked solid and I came to a screeching halt. Walking 2.5 miles home pushing this dead horse, my thought was to fix it, but as life would have it the young lady in the photo was born and the bike sat forgotten. This was in 2004, my daughter wanted one of those battery powered Barbie jeeps. What we created was a combination Bridgestone/go-cart/1940's model N Briggs and Stratton engine with forward-reverse gearbox. This is in fond memory of the best little street bike I ever owned, living on as a sick twisted toy straight out of Sid's back yard in Toy Story. |
